Hanoi in the first eight months exported US $2.7 billion worth of products, up 21.1 percent from same period 2006, while the figures of August reached $358 million.
Major products include printer worth $543 million accounting for around 49 percent and agriculture products for $482 million at 18.7 percent.
In turn, imports of the city climbed to $9.3 billion, year-on-year rise of 16.3 percent.
