Chinese textile & garment exports continue march in June, July

After an agreement with the EU last month, Chinese exports of textiles and garments continued their steady rise in June and July as per figures released by China's Commerce Ministry.

During the first seven months this year, China's outbound textiles and garment exports reached US $61.5 billion. More importantly, the rise was much above May figures this year for June and July.

In June, as compared to same month last year, China's global textile and garment producers recorded 28 percent higher sales. Further, 23 percent higher sales were recorded in July as compared with May's 19 percent increase, Ministry of Commerce website announced.
