A Brazil delegation is expected to visit China soon in order to limit the Asian giant's rise in export to the country.

Brazil government has expressed its desire to add 8 more categories to the existing list of 63 categories of Chinese products whose exports to Brazil have been limited.

Chinese government has also agreed to limit the rise in rate of exports of these products.

China's total export to Brazil has gone up by 50 percent. Of this, the export of Chinese textile products has registered the quickest rise.

Notwithstanding the limits set on the export, many Chinese products have entered Brazil's markets via other countries. Brazil government also hopes to collect data on such products that have gained indirect entry into the country.

The value of China's exports to Brazil amount to US $3 billion, way above the stipulated limit set by Brazil.
