In the first seven months of 2007, textile and apparel product exports to EU countries earned US $801,98 million, representing year-on-year increase of 16.78 percent.
During the period, the EU ranked as the second biggest textile and apparel market, accounting for 19 percent of whole exports turnover of the country.
The US and Japan are take the first and third spots of all markets, worth $2.48 billion and $389.47 million, respectively, posted rise of 35 and 13.46 percent from same period 2006.
According to local experts, keeping such growth will help the textile and apparel industry achieve its exports targets in 2007.
