In the first seven months 2007, Vietnamese textile and apparel industry earned US $77.65 million from exports to Canada, representing year–on–year rise of 42.74 percent.
During this period, shipments of textile and clothing to Japan generated $389.47 million, up 13.46 percent, showing a strong recovery in this Asian market.
Statistic revealed by Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) shows that the country reaped $4.25 billion exports turnover of textile and apparel in the first seven months 2007, surging 28 percent compared to the same period of previous year.
