Fabrics manufactured in Shaoxing County, Zhejiang province are hot favourites in Cambodia and have occupied a huge market share in ASEAN countries.
According to the statistics, in the first seven months this year, Shanxing exported US $10.03 million worth of textile products to Cambodia, up 93.44 percent compared to the same period last year. To the ASEAN countries, the same reached $263 million, representing a rise of 37.97 percent.
It is learned that the demand of textile products in the ASEAN countries is quite high. Here, textile industry depends mainly on imports. It is estimated that in coming future, these countries will become the third-biggest export market for Chinese textile products. The first and second are the US and EU, respectively.
