Turkish Government recently announced that the country would carry out the anti-dumping investigation on some Chinese textile yarns at the insistence of domestic manufacturers, who are facing difficulties.
Authorities thought that if investigation is carried out, enough evidence to prove the dumping of some Chinese yarns products in Turkey will be found. Earlier, Indian yarns enterprises also levied the tax of around US $545 per ton on some Chinese yarns, as too many cheap products were capturing the market.
In the first eight months of this year, the export growth rate of yarns and related products' from Ningbo city has decreased. The total export value was $1.782 billion, up by 14.75 percent compared to same period of last year.
Experts suggested, the local textile export enterprises must upgrade the products to be at par with the international brands and increase the export prices in order to avoid the anti-dumping investigation.
