According to the statistics of Customs department, China exported 5.661 billion pieces of cases and bags in the first three quarters of this year and the exports went up by 18.58 percent compared to the same last. The export value was US $7.934 billion, up by 23.71 percent.
Of the total, the export value of cases and bags made from plastic textile fabric was $6.517 billion, up by 23.08 percent compared to the same last year. Besides, the export value of leather fabric cases and bags was $1.125 billion up by 26.91 percent.
Additionally, the export value of processing trade was $876 million, of which nearly 11.04 percent of the materials were used for cases and bags which was comparatively 0.27 percent higher than in the same period last year.
The export value of Chinese cases and bags to America in particular, was $2.128 billion which accounted for nearly 26.8 percent of the total export value. As a result America has emerged to be the largest export market for Chinese cases and bags.
