In a bid to keep a check on exporting activities of local enterprises and avoid frauds and threats of dumping from the US market, Vu Huy Hoang, Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has recently decided to establish a monitoring group for textile and apparel exports.
This group will be responsible for adjusting and proposing new regulations on textile and apparel exports in accordance with normal terms of international community.
MOIT is compelled to take such a preventive measure in order to forestall dumping investigation of the US Department of Commerce that once again is announced to occur in March next year.
