According to Trade department of Hanoi, the region earned nearly US $430 million through exports in April, witnessing an increase of 26.9 percent over same period last year.
Key items that helped nation earn foreign currency include agriculture products that generated revenue worth $73.9 million and textile garments fetched approximately $59.1 million.
However, the country largly depends on imported raw materials, Hanoi is no exception. The region imported commodities of around $1.616 billion for local production purposes, observing a year-on-year rise of 38.9 percent.
