In imports, coal, iron ore and soybean went up with a high speed, but automobile and steel fell by a small margin.
Statistics showed that exports and imports of Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shanghai ranked No.1, 2, and 3 respectively. In the first 3 quarters, total imports and exports in Guangdong Province amounted to US$300.84 billion, up by 18.6% on a year-on-year basis and accounting for 29.4% of total imports and exports in the same period, keeping the place of the biggest province in China. Of which, exports were US$165.57 billion and imports US$135.27 billion, up by 24% and 12.6% respectively.
Total imports and exports in Jiangsu and Shanghai were US$165.12 billion and US$136.43 billion, up by 36.1% and 15.8% respectively.
