Statistics revealed by Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT)shows that Vietnam exported goods worth US $86 million in the first half of 2008, representing a year on year rise of 117 percent.
Turnover in the month of June alone amounted to US $13 million.
Exports to Denmark in the first five months of this year reached $72.9 million of which textile and garment products accounted for $15.4 million.
Vietnam in turn imported goods worth $58.28 million from Denmark in the period between January and May of this year. The products were mostly materials and equipments and included $6 million worth of fabric.
