July can be considered as one of the best months for textile and garment industry where export turnover has reached US $930 million. This amount will be contributing to $5.1 billion that the country earned in the period from January to July, giving a rise by 20.5 percent compared to the same period of 2007.
According to official sources from Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), July figures can be considered to have achieved highest growth rate since January 2008.
Vietnamese industrial experts suggest that the target of $9.5 billion for the current year can be accomplished by garment industries, if the remaining months show good result as July.
