As confirmed by official source of Ministry of Industry and Trade, in the first half of the ongoing year, export of textile and apparel to EU was quite high, although a slow trend is being noted at the US market.
In the same period, shipment to EU reaped US $771 million, as represented a year –on –year growth of 20.28 percent. Vietnam stood as the second highest exported for the region. In meantime the figures at US stood at $2.39 billion.
Japan, the third largest client of Vietnam, procured textile and apparel worth $365million depicting a increase of 12 percent over same period last year.
