The Directorate General of Anti Dumping and Allied Duties (DGAD) has recommended imposition of anti-dumping duty on imports of viscose filament yarn from China to the Ministry of Commerce, India.
Earlier, acting on an application received from the domestic manufacturers of viscose filament yarn, the DGAD had initiated an investigation into the dumping of yarn in Indian markets.
The provisional anti-dumping duty would be equivalent to the difference between the benchmark price set by DGAD and landed price of the filament yarn imported from China.
