According to report from the International Trade Publishing Corp (ITP) headquartered in the US, China's September imports of Mono-ethylene glycol (MEG), ethylene - vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), POM, polycarbonate (PC), and Styrene hit a record high.
In September China imported 551,000 tons of Mono-ethylene glycol and 363,300 tons of styrene. In the month of August, China imported 502,994 tons of Mono-ethylene glycol and 287,387 tons of styrene.
According to data released by ITP, China's imports of all polymer goods increased by 31-133 percent this year, including all grades of major homo-polymerization and co-polymerization polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and EVA.
