China's total imports of polyester chips from the across the world registered US $276.1 million in January to December 2009, down 12.39 percent from the same period last year.
The import growth rate of polyester chips was lower by 3.15 percent when corresponded with overall imports of textiles and garments which stood at a negative 9.24 percent in 2009.
