In the month of May, imports of European Union from China's increased 21.3 percent year on year, of which, textiles and clothing imports rose by 50 percent and 13.3 percent, respectively.
Shipments of knitted and woven apparel gained 13.6 percent in volume, while unit price fell 2.1 percent.
From January to May, cumulative imports from China increased 17.4 percent year on year, of which, textiles and clothing shipments advanced by 29.1 percent and 13.5 percent, respectively.
Average unit price of knitted and woven garments dropped 2.2 percent year on year.
