Chinese T&C exports to Japan pick up in May

China's exports to Japan started to pick up pace in May 2010. Exports to Japan in May increased 15.8 percent year on year,

Out of overall exports from the sector, textile and clothing exports rose by 14 percent and 16.2 percent, respectively.

Of which, knitted and woven apparel exports assumed growth of 7.5 percent year-on-year, while average unit price gained 8.2 percent.

From January to May, China's total exports to Japan registered a negative growth of 0.8 percent year-on-year.
