EU withdraws anti-dumping duty on Chinese PSF

The EU has decided to withdraw anti-dumping duty on polyester staple fiber imported from China.

The anti-dumping duty which was imposed six-years ago, stood as high as 49.7 percent in some cases.

This is expected to open up a new market for PSF producers in China and now will also provide tough competition to PSF exports to EU from other countries.

The decision will take effect after being published in EU Official Gazette before June 16.
