Bangladesh's Chattogram Port Authority is introducing an automated system to make export-import processes faster and transparent.
It has outsourced the task to Magnetic Tech Limited under a revenue-sharing model.
The system would help enter export-import data into the server, assist in delivery order processing, manage processing of documents and boost the port's image globally.

Bangladesh’s Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) is introducing an automated system to make export-import processes faster and transparent.

It has outsourced the task to Magnetic Tech Limited under a revenue-sharing model.

The system would help enter export-import data into the server, assist in delivery order processing and manage processing of relevant documents.

Leading port users have been informed about the procedures to be followed in the new system, according to domestic media reports.

CPA officials feel the system would raise digitalised port operation and boost the post’s image globally.
