China's logistics sector remains stable in August 2023

In August 2023, China’s logistics sector demonstrated a steady performance, as per industry data. The metric overseeing the market dynamics noted a score of 50.3 per cent, a minor decrement of 0.6 percentage points from July’s findings.

Figures exceeding the 50-point threshold denote an expansion, conversely, numbers falling below signify contraction, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP).

He Hui, the CFLP chief economist, commented on the maintained stability throughout August, projecting a persistent recuperation due to the favourable impact of policy incentives.
