In February, a slight decline in China's road logistics price index was reported, according to findings from a collaborative effort between the Guangdong Lin'an Logistics Group and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. The index recorded a 0.82 per cent year-on-year fall, settling at 102.6. This downturn is largely attributed to the reduced pace of production across enterprises during the Chinese New Year festivities.

The Chinese New Year saw a deceleration in enterprise production. This annual occurrence has a ripple effect on various sectors, including road logistics, which witnessed a decline in demand, as per Chinese media reports.

Specifically, the sector of full-truckload logistics also experienced a modest reduction in its price index, which dropped by 0.64 per cent compared to the same timeframe last year, marking it at 102.7.
