China's road logistics price index up 3.5% YoY in Jan 2023

China’s road logistics price index increased by 3.5 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to stand at 104 in January 2023, as per a survey. Growing market demand due to bolstered economic recovery momentum during the month also led the index to push by 0.92 per cent month-on-month (MoM) for January.

The country’s economic recovery was noted to be stable, and the execution of economic policies is projected to impact positively, according to the joint survey by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the Guangdong Lin’an Logistics Group.

The road logistics price index for the East Asian nation is expected to jump despite fluctuations in the future, local media reports said.
