Vietnam Maritime Corporation signs deal with Roland Berger

The Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) has signed a contract with Munich-based management consulting firm Roland Berger to develop itself until 2030, with a vision till 2035.

The consulting firm will design a business operations strategy for VIMC, connecting the latter with the leading financial, maritime transportation and logistics entities across the world.

Roland Berger will also apply information technology and green technology to help VIMC achieve faster and more sustainable development, a domestic news agency reported.

VIMC operates 15 seaports and a river port in the country, with a total of 75 wharves, accounting for over 26 per cent of the total number of wharves and nearly 17 per cent of the total length of wharves across the country. It boasts of a fleet of 64 vessels.
