Trade show organizer George Little Management LLC (GLM) has announced that its Gourmet Housewares Show will join Reed Exhibition's National Hardware Show in making a move to Orlando, Florida, in 2007, returning to Las Vegas in 2008.
“The Gourmet Housewares Show and the National Hardware Show collocation has been a synergistic home-run for the housewares and home improvement industries,” said Susan Corwin, vice president and show manager.
“Orlando is a destination which demographically works for our audience, who are equally within reach of Orlando and Las Vegas, and we're looking forward to being there in 2007.”
“In addition to its many other benefits, the move will also allow us to test the market for an East Coast, Florida location for a national show in the housewares industry. There are many who have said that this is an attractive and viable concept.”
In 2006, the Gourmet Housewares Show and the National Hardware Show will be held May 9-11, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In 2007, the Gourmet Housewares Show and the National Hardware Show will be held May 8-10, at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). In 2008, the Gourmet Housewares Show and the National Hardware Show will be held May 6-8, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The 30th annual Gourmet Housewares Show will run Tuesday, May 9, through Thursday, May 11, 2006, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in Las Vegas, NV. The Show will present 600 exhibitors featuring cookware, kitchenware, tabletop, culinary tools, cutlery, specialty appliances (electric and non-electric), wine accessories, kitchen textiles, specialty foods, cookbooks, and related accessories and lifestyle furnishings.
