After witnessing a profit drop in thermal category, Tinsino, a Beijing-based thermal wear manufacturer has been forced to tap new product categories and this shift helped the company in keeping the competition of thermal wear at bay.

The company has started manufacturing underwear for spring and summer for the first time after its establishment in 2001.

This is not the case with one company only, but for the entire segment.

Thermal underwear industry in China faces difficulties in a pinching market scenario and it is forced to move its business to more mature and wealthy consumers.

In the China Knitwear Cotton Trade Fair held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, more than 400 Chinese underwear manufacturers were diehard to capture attention of major buyers.

In spite of these efforts, underwear manufacturers failed to gain good return.
