Apparel exporters bag $12m orders from Las Vegas show

Apparel exporters of the country bagged export orders worth US $12 million from ASAP Global Sourcing Show in Las Vegas, USA during February 20-23.
More than 45 apparel exporters from Bangladesh participated at the fair and displayed their products under the aegis of Bangladesh Pavilion managed by Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh, informed an official of Bureau.
Around 500 registered buyers and representatives from leading apparel manufacturing companies visited the pavilion.
The fair also showcased seminars on market expansion as well as business dialogues and sessions with the Bangladeshi organisations.
ASAP Global Sourcing Show is a trade show for US buyers to meet hundreds of overseas ready-made garment manufacturers.
