Entire textile value chain has undergone transformation, right from manufacturing, to wholesale, to retail, and finally witnessing path breaking trends on the consumer front in the Indian market place.

Meanwhile, this has prompted major stakeholders among the industry to go for expansion, both on capacities and manpower sectors, while inviting freshers from diverse sectors.

If majors have taken this path, then why would small and medium-size firms not take a cue with streamlining of their businesses and going on for recruitment binge.

Professional recruiting agencies are getting calls from the textile industry seeking head hunting opportunities even as they launch innovative training and motivational programmes for junior employees.
