Hong Kong to invest in knitwear & woven plants

Hong Kong will invest in Adanjee Export Processing Zone by setting up a knitwear and a woven plant, which have been sanctioned by Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA).

The knitwear plant will be named as Supreme Knitwear Ltd and woven plant will be known as M/s Supreme Smartwear Ltd.

The wholly owned Supreme Knitwear will invest US $10.125 million occupying 10000 square metres area. Manufacturing capacity of the plant will be 14.4 million pieces of shirts and Polo shirts.

While Supreme Smartwear will be set up on 10,000 square meters area with an investment of $6.663 million. This factory is expected to produce 2.61 million pieces of readymade garments including dress and casual pants.

Both the companies would generate 4,151 job opportunities, of which 2361 from Supreme Knitwear and the rest by Supreme Smartwear.
