Artists are the citizens of the world and they cannot be confined within boundaries of nations; this fact has been proved at fashion show organized by International Trade & Exhibition (ITE) group at Delhi, where designers of Pakistan and India displayed their creativity on clothes.
They did not find any difference in their designs except in the use of materials as Pakistanis use silk compared to georgette used by Indians.
The real difference lies in mentality and approach of the designers from the two nations as Indians helped by vibrant models, who are bolder and innovative, while Pakistani designers are conservative in nature due to the averse-to-rapid-change models.
Indian fashion has reached its pinnacle and its market is estimated Rs3 billion, while apparel industry's figures of export oriented and local markets stand at Rs550 billion.
