In the period, importing price of 100 percent-acrylic fibre from Hong Kong was pegged around US $4.34 per kg, and 100 percent-cotton price was quoted at about $3.3 per kg.
Meanwhile, in the first week of July, Chinese filament–fibre exports to Vietnam were priced at nearly $7.07 per kg, recording 1.6 percent rise from previous week.
Price of Spandex–fibre was at $5 per kg.
Taiwan and China are two biggest suppliers of textile and apparel materials to Vietnam.
