The 10th edition of the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) will be held from 8 to11 September 2006 and the 100th session of the Chinese Export Commodities Fair (Canton Fair) to be held in two phases between 15 to 20 October and 25 to 30 October 2006.
The Chinese Embassy in Seychelles has invited local businesses to participate in both trade fairs.
CIFIT is China's largest nation-wide international investment platform for focusing on promoting bilateral investments and foreign direct investments (FDIs).
More than 12,000 visitors including delegates from 125 countries attended the 9th CIFIT last year generating a trade volume of more than US $20 billion.
The exhibits in this year's session will consist of industrial products, textiles and garments, medicines and health products, consumer goods and gifts.
Seychellois entrepreneurs wishing to attend the fair or those seeking partners for viable investment projects can contact the Chinese Embassy to register and obtain travel information.
