Mr Tsang said the situation will be under close watch and the trade will be kept informed of the latest developments.

Meanwhile, support to the trade, such as stepping up manpower training, deepening the development capability of the industry, promoting the image of local fashion brands, encouraging application of technology and creative ideas, and strengthening infrastructure will continue to enhance Hong Kong's competitiveness, he added.
