Trade and investments between Malaysia and Thailand has expanded reaching US $7.2 billion.
Within Asean, Malaysia ranked as Thailand's largest trading partner, highest in terms of import and second in terms of export.
Trade between them rose by 17.2 percent to $13.83 billion from $11.8 billion in 2004, last year.
Textile, garment materials, fertilizer, food and foodstuffs, wood, electric and electronic home appliances, education, healthcare and tourism.
Malaysia was the sixth largest foreign investor in Thailand with investment amounting to $510.15 million in 2005, almost double from that of $298.43 million in 2004.
