China enhances trade with UAE

In first six months of 2006, China's trade with UAE had a sharp rise. As per Chinese Government, half yearly results exhibited 29 percent increase in mutual transactions to $6.7 billion. Hence China's trade with GCC states rose 34 percent to $21 billion.

Starting from 2001, China-UAE trade has expanded by 30 percent per year. More than 1,000 Chinese companies are running in UAE currently. Increasing value of Chinese products in the UAE market will be emphasized in Dubai's trade expo.

Director General of Expo-Centre Sharjah, Saif Al Midfa informed that many successful Chinese firms manufacturing products like advanced electronics and machinery, hardware, textile products, building materials, furniture will participate in the expo between November 25 and 29.
