Chinese government changed the export rebate rate of textile and clothing industry in 1994, 1996, 1999, 2004 and 2006, according to historical experience, the export rising rate will reduce by 1.9 percent while the export rebate rate reduced by one percent.
This year, the export rebate rate reduces by two percent for textile and clothing industry.
Estimates show that 2006 export rate will go down 16.89 percent.
Experts suggested that textile and clothing traders should compensate loss by increasing unit price and reducing cost.
