Strict laws to fight illegal clothing exports to US & EU

Recently, Government announced that export authorization of the textile units that engage in the illegal transit trade via third country will be cancelled.

When quota tax exceeds the cost of production, most units will export textile or clothing to the US and the EU through the third country. Hongkong is one of the most popular transit areas.

However, the US and the EU have begun to carry out related measures to stop Chinese illegal trade and also keep a close track on the place of origin.

Not long ago, the US Customhouse captured one million pieces of illegal Chinese clothing.

Experts opine that while some clothing units will suffer significant loss, such measures would help to regulate textile export.
