State to finance 11 leading industries for development

Ministry of Industry has provided the Government with a list of 11 leading industries for their progress between 2006 and 2010.
These industries include textiles, garments, leather footwear, chemicals, engineering, information technology, tele communications and electronic apparatus.
State of Vietnam will provide finance and official development assistance (ODA) funds to industries for their development. It will aid projects sanctioned by Government for borrowing overseas loans.
State will also invest capital in many important local enterprises, set up steady credit mechanism for extra projects and release Government bonds as per requirement.
Producers of major industries will be specifically financed by the State for application of novel technologies, experimental research and production.
