The future of Bangkok Fashion City will be known by the next week, informed Industry Minister, Kosit Panpiemras. The project which was initiated by previous government to encourage domestic textiles and fashion industries had been severely criticized by critics.
The Minister informed that even though review of the project would not be completed before April, 2007, Government had to decide the fate of next phase of project for allocation of funds.
Chakramon Phasukvanich, Industry Permanent Secretary informed that seven out of nine sub-projects had already been realized and advocated the implementation of some part of the project like training programmes for manufacturers and fashion school.
