Mannan Group of Industries (MGI) has taken over Kokil Textile Mills (KTM) from Bangladesh Textile Mills Corporation (BTMC) making it a privately owned enterprise.
After the hand over, unit will be known as Kokil Textile Mills Limited. Meanwhile, people have asked authorities to take essential steps to continue with the flow of smooth production of quality yarn.
The mill had been closed in 1998 due to factors like incurring losses, abysmal power supply and so on.
