Recently, 2006 Zhenzhou First International Textile Clothing Fair is being carried out in full swing. It is a project that makes Zhenzhou city into the center of clothing design and processing in Western region.
Chinese textile industry is rapidly shifting to the West because of availability of raw materials, labour force and so on, which is compelling these provinces to introduce all kinds of industrial plans in order to earn maximum profit.
However, experts warn, that this shift may just be an industrially upgraded and a passing temporary phase.
According to national policies about the development of Western China, the investment in textile projects must be strictly controlled.
In addition, eliminated textile technics equipments must be forbidden to shift into Western areas.
