PTA and MEG prices slightly uplifted, semi-bright polyester chips showed no change in price, bright polyester chips, CDP chips and polyester waste bottle chips remained dull, the price of polyester staple fiber was steady.
The prices of acrylic staple fiber 1.5D × 38 mm and acrylic top 3D x 120mm were firm. CPL, nylon-6 chip prices slightly rose; viscose staple price was slightly upswept.
The market turnover of polyester yarn indicated no big change, and prices of spinning manufacturers were still flat, except for individual spinning FDY varieties suffered drop in prices.
Both spinning manufacturers and traders are likely to hold a cautious approach towards the future market.
