Men's plus-size clothing sector goes up 15%

Extra large trousers have been considered as the most rapidly expanding industry in retail clothing. As per market analysts, value of gents' plus-size clothing sector has upturned 15 percent to £718 million as against last year.

Moreover, the most accelerative section of the sector has gone up 56 percent for the last year.

Retailers of plus-size garments have been concentrating on ladies, but now high street brands like Marks & Spencer and Bhs are flourishing on account of casual and official wear for bigger men.

Maximum progress is achieved due to socio-economic class ABC1 with over one fifth rise.

High & Mighty, which caters specifically to big-sized consumers and has outlets in Edinburgh and Glasgow, says that its retail market is growing.
