About 28 contracts worth over US $13.205 million were made at Turkmen commodity and raw materials exchange in the previous week, hence demand for oil, gas and chemicals produced in Turkmenistan surged up.

Firms from US, Russia, Pakistan, Ukraine, Switzerland, India and British Virgin Islands (BVI) bought cotton yarn worth more than Manat24.080 billion. Raw silk was purchased by US, Estonian and Indian traders.
Russian, Kazakh, Indian and BVI businessmen bought variety of knitwear. Traders from Bulgaria, India and Turkey purchased Karakul and Sarajin washed wool.
Traders from Iran paid for many types of lint cotton. Biggest deal made was purchase of technical carbon K-354 by Russians.
