For the first time, Shishi clothing city conducted exhibition 'Straits Textile and Clothing Fair' in 1998, usually held in April each year.
At present, it has become one of the most important textile and clothing exhibition in the country. In 2002, trade volume of this event was RMB1.12 billion.
Fair has helped Shishi city to always remain updated regarding technology of sewing machines, fabric technology and exchange of clothing design.
