Jiaxing Burlington Textile Co. Ltd revealed at its opening ceremony on February 8 that it will formally start operations in May this year. By then, Jiaxing will become one of the largest production bases of middle and high-end textile fabrics in China.
It is reported that the total investment in the project is US $22.5 million, which represents the nation's largest project invested in middle and high-end textile fabrics.
Being different to traditional textile industry, the project will not follow the mode of intensive labor, instead, it will achieve its goal through equipments and technology. Its main products will be in middle and high-end market. The project is estimated to produce an annual output of 19 million yards of textile fabric, with an yearly value over 200 million yuan.
