After a long period of depression, apparel stores of Bermuda's are slowly recovering.
Yesterday, Government released Retail Sales Index figures of December last year.
Sales of apparel sector in December last year increased by 15.5 percent over same period of previous year.
Similarly, total retail sales reached US $73.4 million in December, a year-on-year increase of 4.8 percent and volume sales also increased by 1.4 percent in the same period.
In 2006, total retail sales of Bermuda stood at $672.7 million with a growth rate of 3.3 percent.
