On February 5, Yancheng textile machinery industry base under the State Torch Program was officially launched. Yancheng has formed a high-tech products group, including high-grade non-woven machines, textile finishing equipments and nonwoven equipments.
Group's products cover whole textile spinning process, carrying more distinctive characteristics.
The base currently has 24 backbone enterprises, which implemented 24 projects under national and provincial Torch Plans. In 2006, industrial output value was closed to 40 billion yuan, and realized profits were 560 million yuan.
Meanwhile, the base has also established Jiangsu Textile Machinery Engineering Technology Research Center, a number of R & D institutions, such as national leveled enterprise technology centers.
