Foreigners invest in Garment City at Hangzhou

Overseas Wenzhou businessmen, recently, took up new initiatives. Jiang Jichun, an overseas Wenzhou businessman and several other partners bagged the International Garment City project in Hangzhou Ever-green Garment Trade Center for 380 million yuan.

They intend to build it into an international garment trade platform both for China and the West world.

It is learned that the investment and construction of International Garment City of Ever-green Garment Trade Center will be mainly led by Jiang Jichun, executive vice president of the Federation of Chinese trade in Italy, vice chairman of the EU-Zhejiang Federation.

The Ever-green International Garment City project, with a total investment of 380 million yuan and total area of 73,000 square meters, will introduce second and third lines garment brands from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

These garment brands will be put into exhibition together with Chinese garment brands, thus creating a platform for local brands to the world and world brands to Chinese market, meanwhile outstanding designer teams from China and abroad will meet each other to make the market more professional.

The annual turnover of Hangzhou Ever-green Garment city is over 10 billion yuan, its clothing sales networks is across the country, and penetrate Southeast Asia, Europe, America and other markets. The market plays a vital role in China's garment industry.
